Born:Versailles (1946); theses: Rennes (R. Dabard); post-doc: MIT (R. R. Schrock). Full Prof. in Bordeaux since 1983; sabbatical Berkeley (K. P. C. Vollhardt, 1990-1); Senior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) since 1995. Group leader on molecular nanosciences and catalysis.
 
Research Interests:
Metallodendritic polymers and functional nanoparticles (synthesis, properties and applications), catalysis (metathesis, C-C coupling, oxidation), molecular materials in water, green chemistry, biological sensors, vectors for drug delivery and medicinal applications, molecular electronics.
